Radio Dad is an internet radio app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon Macs, with an Apple Watch app and CarPlay in the box and a web player at listen.radiodad.app. Instead of scrolling a list, you spin a living globe and the station under the crosshair starts playing: 50,000+ live stations across 230+ countries and territories. When a broadcast is in a language you don't speak, Live Captions write it out as you listen, in 30+ languages, and translate it into about 20, all on the device, on iOS 26 and later. The app identifies songs, scrolls synced lyrics with a translation under each line, plots radio road trips between two countries, and carries podcasts with translatable transcripts. No ads. The host
The man in the headphones is Dad. Capital D, no surname. He runs the night shift in the app and narrates this whole site. Everything here ships inside the app, his portrait and all thirty stickers below. Two rules, and I mean both: don't redraw him, and never separate the man from the mustache.

The sticker pack
Thirty stickers ride along inside the app. Open Messages, tap Stickers, and he is there. Stick one on a bubble or send it as a Tapback. Five of them move: vibing, sleeping, sos, dance and the on-air light. Click any of them below for the full 408 × 408 PNG, transparent and die-cut, ready to drop straight into a story.
Writing the name

Type
Headlines are set in Fraunces. Body copy is Inter. The coordinates, call signs and everything that reads like a ledger is JetBrains Mono. All three are self-hosted.

What's actually different
If you only have three sentences, spend them here. Most radio apps have none of this:
- Spin to tune. Discovery by geography, not by list. There is deliberately no search on the globe; the slowness is the point, like turning a physical dial.
- Captions and translation on the device. A foreign broadcast is written out and translated while you listen, and the audio never leaves the phone.
- A standalone Apple Watch radio. It streams from the wrist with no iPhone nearby, and every bit of it is free.
